Options for publication of full text:

  • Option 1: The selected full texts of the papers of the interested authors presented at NDE 2024 will be published by Springer Nature in the form of Proceeding Book Volume after following the peer review procedure. Springer will conduct quality checks on the accepted papers and only papers that pass these checks will be published in the Proceeding (Springer Nature does not charge any money for the publication of Non-Open Access content). The Proceeding Book Volume will be indexed for citation.
  • Option 2: Full texts of papers of interested authors presented at NDE 2024 can be submitted for publication on NDT.net Open Access under a Creative Commons 4.0 licence (NDT.net does not charge any money for Open Access publication). The Papers will be indexed for citation in Crossref and will receive a DOI. The papers will be published as proceedings electronically.
  • The selected full texts of the papers of the interested authors presented at NDE 2024 will be published by Springer Nature in the form of Proceeding Book Volume after following the peer review procedure. Springer will conduct quality checks on the accepted papers and only papers that pass these checks will be published in the Proceeding (Springer Nature does not charge any money for the publication of Non-Open Access content). The Proceeding Book Volume will be indexed for citation.
  • Full texts of papers of interested authors and papers not accepted by the peer review process of Springer Nature will be published on the e-Journal of Nondestructive Testing (eJNDT), published Open Access under a Creative Commons 4.0 licence (no article processing charge) by NDT.net.

NDE technologists, scientists and professionals interested in presenting their original work at NDE 2024 are requested to upload the abstract(s) of their paper(s) in any of the following suggested broad areas and topics:

Guidelines to Authors for Preparation of Abstract

  • The abstract should be prepared strictly as per the Abstract Submission Template NDE 2024. The Abstract template is available here.
  • Abstracts should be prepared in English.
  • The abstract size is limited to one A4 page (including title, authors, affiliations, body text, keywords, etc.). The Abstract text shall have a minimum of 250 words to a maximum of 400 words. The abstract should comprise of a title, names and affiliations of authors along with email address and the text.
  • The abstract must be prepared in *.doc/ *.docx format only. No other format would be accepted by the uploading utility.
  • The abstract should convey the purpose of the study, experimental procedures and important findings and outcome of the work.
  • Drawings / figures should not be included in the text of the abstract.
  • Abstracts / papers previously published or presented at any national or international meeting are not permitted.

Guidelines to Authors for Submission of Abstract

  • The abstract must be submitted in *.doc/ *.docx format only. No other format would be accepted by the uploading utility.
  • Abstracts must be uploaded only through the page provided in the conference website isntnde.in. Submission of abstract through email is NOT Acceptable.
  • Go to the Submit Abstract page on the conference website available as the sub menu under main menu “Technical”.
  • It is expected that the presenting author submits the abstract.
  • Verify your email through email OTP. Kindly use the same email for the delegate registration also.
  • Once email OTP verification is successfully completed, the form will on the same page.
  • Fill in the details of presenting author.
  • Fill in the details of abstract.
  • Fill in the details of all authors. Click on ‘+’ sign to add more authors. You can have maximum seven (7) numbers of authors in a single paper.
  • Provide 3-6 keywords for your abstract.
  • Upload the .doc / .docx abstract file using the utility.
  • Select your preferred mode of presentation.
  • Select the full paper publication option.
  • Review your submission and submit if all is in line with your data.
  • Please note, you may save the partially filled data for submission at a later date and time. For this, click on the save button and you’ll be sent an email with the edit link. The edit link can be used to continue filling your form. Once submitted the edit link will be invalid.
  • Click on ‘Submit Abstract’ button to proceed with submission of abstract.
  • You’ll receive a confirmation email to the OTP verified email ID regarding successful submission of the abstract with the abstract ID.

Decision on the submitted abstract

  • Normally within seven (7) working days, you are expected to receive an email indicating the decision on the acceptance / rejection of the submitted abstract.
  • Refer to the paper ID for any future communication regarding your abstract.

Registration of Presenting Author

  • It is mandatory for the presenting author to get registered (any category of registration) for NDE 2024 conference as a delegate.To register, click on the submenu ‘ONLINE REGISTRATION’ at www.isntnde.in.
  • There is a special category for registration of presenting author with a discounted fee. You may choose to register under any other category as well as per your convenience.
  • For registering yourself as an “Presenting Author”, you require to provide your paper ID and also the screenshot of the abstract acceptance email. Please make sure to provide the correct paper ID during registration and also ensure to provide the same email ID used for paper submission.
  • Your registration process shall complete on or before 8th November 2024 to include your paper in the final conference program.

Conference program

  • Technical session of the conference will start from 11:30 hrs on 12th Dec 2024 (Day 1) and last technical session will end at 16:00 hrs on 14th Dec (Day 3).
  • Your paper can be allotted on any session in this 3 days’ conference.
  • Kindly plan your itinerary keeping the timing in mind.
  • Conference program will be released tentatively on or before 18th Nov 2024. Kindly look for your slot for the talk.

Publication of your Full Paper

  • If the paper is not presented in the conference, full text publication will not be considered in any of the option.
  • ISNT NDE 2024 has tied up with Springer Nature and NDT.net for publication of your full paper.
  • During submission of your abstract itself you’ll be asked about your option of publication of your full paper.
  • Further explanation of the options of publication are as follows et for publication on the portal
  1. Only in Springer-Nature Proceeding – NDE 2024 (If not selected for Springer-Nature proceeding, it is not to be published on NDT.net)
  • In this case, your paper will be considered only for publication in Springer Nature Proceedings. If the review process rejects the paper, it won’t be considered for publication on NDT.net.
  1. Only published Open Access under a Creative Commons 4.0 license (no fee) by NDT.net (Not to be considered for Springer-Nature Proceeding)
  • In this case your contact will be forwarded to NDT.net for uploading your paper for publication on the NDT.net portal. The decision to publish the paper will be at the discretion of NDT.net.
  1. Springer Proceeding / On NDT.net (If not selected for Springer-Nature Conference Proceeding, it is to be considered for publication on NDT.net)
  • In this case, your paper will initially be considered for publication in Springer Nature Proceedings. If the review process rejects the paper, your contact details will be forwarded to NDT.net for uploading your paper for publication on the NDT.net portal. The decision on the publication of the paper will be at the discretion of NDT.net.
  1. Not interested in submitting a full paper
  • In this case, you’ll not be contacted to submit your full paper.
