Dr. V.H.Patankar graduated in Electronics from Shivaji University, joined BARC in 1988 and acquired doctorate from Mumbai University, in 2007. More than 30 years, he is engaged in the design and development of an automated ultrasonic imaging systems for NDT of nuclear reactors. He is a Professor & PhD Guide at Homi Bhabha National Institute (HBNI), Deemed to be University of Dept. of Atomic Energy and four scholars have completed PhD under his guidance. He has more than 80 Peer-reviewed journal papers in his credit and has received ISNT National NDT Award 2003 at Thiruvananthapuram. He belongs to Sangli and loves music & travelling.
